As we proceed...

Thursday August 27th,2009

Lots of new things here this month, so I'll cut right to it.

One of the things we focus on here at MSR is making sure we've got what people want and need in order to be creative, so we pay attention when we see a program like Logic grow in popularity.  That said, we've installed Apple's Logic Studio 9 in both rooms.  The software is setup to operate with an 8 in / 8 out configuration using a Digidesign 192, however we have 16 i/o of Apogee conversion available for those in need of more flexibility.

In addition, if you check out our list of synths and samplers, you'll see that we've got some new additions to our stock.  Now available for sessions:

Access Virus TI
Akai MPC60
Nord Lead 2
Roland Juno 106
Yamaha Motif ES8

We've also got some pretty sweet guitar amps now, a Fender Deluxe Reverb and a 1954 Danelectro Tube Amp (overdrives real nice with the Wurly!)

Finally, we've got some new mics available: (2) Schoeps CMC6 MK4, a Blue Dragonfly, and a AKG C24 (which, unlike the rest of our microphone stock, carries a modest rental charge of $60/day due to the rarity of the mic).

Enjoy,

Matt
